Get an Overview on the Complete Working of DRS Backup Exec Backup Repair Pro Software

Step-1
Go to the Office website of DRS Softech and download DRS Backup Exec BKF Repair Pro Software. Install the application and run it as administrator.

Click on the Open button at the top left corner. It allows you to browse the desired BKF file from your system.

A pop-up window will appear. Click on the Add File button to add the damaged BKF file that you want to repair.

Locate the corrupted Backup Exec BKF file from your system and press the Open button to add the file.

Next, you need to select the recovery mode from either of the two options: Standard and Advanced Mode. Opt for the Standard mode to fix minor file corruptions.

If the Backup Exec BKF file is heavily corrupted. Tick the Advanced mode.

In the Standard Recovery Mode, tick the Recover SQL data option. It will help you restore the items of the SQL database in the selected file.

The Heuristic Scanning option allows calculative scanning of the selected BKF file.

After selecting all the preferences, click on the OK button to initiate the file recovery.

You will see a pop-up of successful scanning. Press OK to close it.

The recovered items appear in the left pane as a tree structure. You can check the preview of the selected item in the right section.

The tool provides you with the Snapshot feature. You can Save the snapshot of the recovered item and Load it when needed without scanning the BKF file.

Also, you can save the log file for the BKF recovery process. Click on the Log button and specify the location and name. Then, press Save to save the log file.

Now, to save the repaired BKF file, click on the Save button in the top menu bar.

In the Saving Wizard, define a suitable destination for the resultant file.

At last, click on the OK button to save the recovered Backup Exec BKF file.
