Guide to repair and recover severely corrupted Windows Backup file created by NT-Backup and Symantec Backup Exec.

Step-1
Open DRS Backup Exec BKF Repair Tool.
Step-2
Click the Open button. Select the corrupted BKF files and then hit the Open button.

A pop-up is open in your display.

You can see the Select Recovery Mode and Select files scanning option.

Now, Go to the Select Recovery Mode. Choose the Standard Mode for recovering minor corrupted files and Advanced Mode for major corrupted BKF files.

Visit the Select file scanning option. Mark the Scan complete BKF file and Scan partial BKF file as per your requirement.

Click the Ok button for the scanning process.

A pop-up notification opens in your display. Click the Ok button.

Here, You can expand the file content in a hierarchical folder on the left side. Select the bkf file to process recovery. Next, on the right side you preview it .

Now, You need to click the browse button to select the desired path.

And Hit the Save file(s) button to save the file in your desired location.

Wait a little bit while your files are saving.

You can see a pop-message. Press the Ok button. Finally, you have successfully completed it.
