Step-1
Download and install the DRS Google Drive Migration Tool Run it as administrator.

After launching the application, click on the Next button.

You will see a pop-up stating, ‘Please Allow Access.’ Click OK to proceed further.

Provide the email address of the desired Google Drive and hit the Next button.

After that, provide the password of the Google account and press Next.

Tick the required permissions to allow the application to access your Google Drive data. Click Continue to proceed further.

After successfully authenticating your Gmail account, you will see a webpage display, ‘Authentication Successful.’

In the DRS Google Drive Migration Tool, the application displays a tree-structure preview in the left section and its detail in the right section.

Select the required items and click on the Next button.

Now, you will see all the migration options of the tool.

Tick the Select Extension of Files option to enable the file extension-based filter. Fill in the file formats of desired items and click on the Add Extension button.

After that, select the Select Dates option. It is a date filter that allows you to migrate files of a specific date range.
Step-13
Select between Created Date or Modified Date. It will determine the data type based on which the Date filter works.
Step-14
Enter suitable dates in the Start Date and End Date to specify the date range. Click on the Add Date button.

You can add multiple date ranges by repeating the same steps.

In case, you have added an incorrect date range, click on the Remove Date button to delete the date range. Press the Remove All Dates button to delete all entries.

Now, tick the Allow Duplicate Files option to include duplicate Drive items in the migration.

If you want to delete all the selected drive files after completing the migration, opt for the Free up Server Space feature It helps you to leave free space for new files.
Note: Using this option will delete your drive files, so be careful while enabling this feature.

After that, click on the Next button to proceed further.
Step-20
Now, Expand the list of destination drives and select the Backup to Local Drive option. You can also opt for the OneDrive and Google Drive options if required.

Assign the destination to the output file and click on the Open button.
Step-22
After that, give a suitable name to the folder that will store the resultant files and hit the OK button.
Step-23
Here, the application migrates your Google Drive data to the local drive as per the selected tool options.
Step-24
After successfully migrating the Drive files, you will see the list of all the migrated items. Click on the Download Report button to download the migration report.
Step-25
Press the Migrate Again button to export your Google Drive data once again. If you want to quit the application, click on the Exit button.
