Step-1: Download and Run DRS Mac Gmail Backup Software on your Mac computer.

Note: Internet connection is compulsory to use this software.

Step-2: Now enter your Gmail account credentials.

Note: Use a Third-party app password for login.

Step-3: Click the link mentioned on the software if you want to learn how to create and use a third-party app password.

Step-4: Now click the sign-in button after entering the accurate username and password.

Step-5: Wait till the software loads all your Gmail Mailbox items.

Step-6: After that choose the Gmail mailbox items you want to backup and click NEXT button.

Step-7: Now choose the backup format. Here we elect EML in our example.

Step-8: Save your extra scanning time and storage by selecting the Remove Duplicate Mail option.

Step-9: Also, tick the checkbox “Maintain Folder Hierarchy” to keep data intact and in a structured manner.

Step-10: “Delete Email” you can choose this option if you want to delete emails from the server after the backup process completes.

Step-11: Here you can apply Mail filter to filter emails by entering a Start date and end date parameters.

Step-12: Similarly, you can apply Task filter to filter tasks by entering a Start date and end date parameters.

Step-13: Now if you want to add a custom folder name for the output file then tick the required checkbox.

Step-14: Use the file rename feature by selecting the naming convention option as presented.

Step-15: Select a file saving path from your computer or external hard drive to save the backup files.

Step-16: In the end, click the convert button to start the backup process of Gmail emails on your Mac machine.

Step-17: Wait for some minutes till the backup process gets finished.

Step-18: The Gmail to EML conversion is completed, you can download the report or choose to convert again. If not then exit and close the software.

Import Gmail Emails to other email clients(AOL, Yahoo, Another Gmail account, Thunderbird, IMAP, Hotmail, Live Exchange, Office 365, and Opera Mail) on Mac operating system

Step-1: Run DRS Gmail Backup Tool for Mac.

Step-2: Now enter Gmail account credentials.

Step-3: Now click the sign-in button after entering the correct username and password.

Step-4: Wait till the software loads all your Gmail Mailbox items.

Step-5: After that choose the mailbox items you want to backup and click NEXT.

Step-6: Now pick the email client in which you want to export Gmail emails. Here we select AOL in our example.

Step-7: Enter your AOL Mail profile credentials. Click Sign in to continue.

Step-8: Click the link mentioned on the software if you want to learn how to create and use a third-party app password.

Step-9: Save your time and storage by selecting the Remove Duplicate Mails option.

Step-10: Also, tick the checkbox “Maintain Folder Hierarchy”.

Step-11: “Delete after download” you can choose this option if you want to delete emails from the server after the backup process completes.

Step-12: Here you can apply different filters like Mail filter and Task filter by entering a Start date and end date parameters.

Step-13: Now if you want to add a custom folder name then tick the required checkbox.

Step-14: Now click the convert button to export Gmail emails to AOL Mail.

Step-15: Wait for a few minutes till the tool exports all Gmail emails to your AOL account.

Step-16: The Gmail to AOL conversion is completed, you can download the report or choose to convert again. If not then exit and close the software.

Activation

DRS Mac Gmail Backup Software is available in two editions i.e trial version and full version. Users can download the trial version to evaluate the software to understand it completely and to test the basic features of the utility. To get the full version of the tool user needs an activation key to activate the software without any hassle.

Activation Key will be delivered on the registered user email id by the DRS team at the time of purchase. After receiving the key follow the below-mentioned steps to activate the software.

Step 1: Launch Gmail Backup for Mac Utility on your machine. A pop-up for entering the activation key will be displayed. If the user already has the activation key then he/she can enter the key in the given space else continue to the underneath mentioned process to get the activation key.

Step 2: Here click on “I don’t have authentication code” and enter the following details.

Email Address: Here, you require to enter your email address, which you have used to register the Software.

Order Number: Insert your order ID number that you received at the time of purchase.

File Path: Select the desired path to save the .info file.

Now click the “Get authentication code” tab.

A new .info file will be saved in the user described location.

Step 3: Send the .info file produced by the software at sales@data-recovery-solutions.com.

Step 4: Within some time user will get the authentication key in his/her Mailbox.

Step 5: Now open the DRS software again and enter the received activation key to activate the software.

Download the DRS backup software for Mac from DRS’s official website.
Now right click on the downloaded .dmg file and click Open.
After that follow the steps on the setup wizard to install the application on your computer. Click Agree.
Drag the .dmg app to the application folder. Your application is now installed and ready to use.

Uninstallation Procedural Guide for DRS Gmail Backup Tool for Mac

Follow the steps below to uninstall DRS Backup software from your Mac System.

Simply Exit the program you want to uninstall or delete.
Now open the Applications folder, which you'll find by opening a new window in the Finder, or clicking on the hard disk icon.
