Step-1: Download the DRS Outlook PST Duplicate Remover Tool. Install and run the software as administrator.

Step-2: Click on the Browse button to search for the required Outlook data file from the system.

Step-3: The Single file option is enabled by default. However, you can also opt for the Multiple File option and add all the desired files simultaneously.

Step-4: After pressing the browse button, choose a PST/OST file and click on the Open button to add it to the tool.

Step-5: Your selected file has been added to the duplicate remover tool. Now, click on the Next button to proceed further.

Step-8: Now, tick the Mail Filter option to enable the date range filter. Select a particular date in the Start Date and End Date fields.

Step-9: Similarly, mark the Task filter and choose specific dates in the Start Date and End Date fields.

Step-10: After that, choose the mailbox items from which you want to remove the duplicates. You can select Mail, Calendar, Task, and Contact for deleting unnecessary items.

Step-11: The tool provides you two options to search the duplicate files. You can choose the Search Duplicate Item within the Folder option to scan the selected folder for duplicate emails.

Step-12: Otherwise, select the Search Duplicate Across PST File option to identify the duplicate emails across the selected Outlook data file.

Step-13: Now, press the Specify Duplicate Criteria button to assign additional duplicate removing criteria.

Step-14: In the new wizard that appeared, Select the criteria of identifying duplicate emails within the mailbox items. You can select the parameters for all mailbox items - Mail, Contact, Calendar, Task.

Step-15: After that, expand the drop-down under the Choose Action section and select a particular option as per your requirement. It allows you to assign the operation performed on duplicate items.

Step-16: Opt for the Make a new folder option in the Choose Action field. After that, assign the folder name in the Make New Folder field.

Step-17: Click on the Save button to save the changes you made related to the process in the tool.

Step-18: Now, press the Path to Save button to assign a custom saving location for the resultant file.

Step-19: At last, click on the Convert button to initialize the process of duplicate removal.

Step-20: After completing the process, you will see its report. You can also download the same by pressing the Download Report button.
