Below are the instructions to split Outlook PST file into multiple smaller files via DRS Split PST Tool for Mac
Step-1
Download and install the DRS Split PST for Mac. Run it as administrator.
Step-2
Now, click on the Add File button to add the desired PST files. If you want to add a complete folder, click on the Add Folder button.
Step-3
Choose the desired file from your system and click on the Open button.
Step-4
Now, the selected PST file has been added to the list. Click on the Next button to proceed further.
Step-5
The application displays a preview of the mailbox folders of the selected PST file. Tick the desired items from the tree structure.
Step-6
On the right section, you will see different PST splitting options: Split PST by Size, Split PST by Date, Split PST by Sender, and Split PST by Folders.
Step-7
Here, we are selecting Split PST by Size. You can choose any option as per your requirement. Click Next.
Step-8
In the Select Size section, enter the size of the output PST files. It is the size of the resultant split files.
Step-9
After that, in the Other Field section, tick the Apply Password option and provide any desired password.
Step-10
Select the Remove Duplicate Mail option to exclude all the duplicate emails from the resultant files.
Step-11
If you want to change the saving location of the resultant PST files, click on the Choose button and define the desired destination.
Step-12
At last, click on the Split button to start file splitting.
Step-13
After completing the file-splitting process, you will see a completion pop-up. Click OK to close it.
