Step-1: Launch DRS VMDK Recovery software and choose the Disk type as well as VMDK Split type.

Step-2: Now Browse corrupt VMDK files using the search button and click open to add them to the software.

Step-3: After adding the files, check the complete file information like file format version, size of hard disk, head, cylinder, & sector per track and click NEXT.

Step-4: Two options for scanning mode: Standard and Advance are available, check GPT format, if your file supports file partition. Also, you can "save disk image" check it in order to do that Then click on Next.

Step-5: You choose the volume you want to recover in the volume list box, you can even use Custom Settings for Selected Volume to define the start and end sector. Click on Add Custom Value if you want to add a new volume to the list. Click NEXT.

Step-6: After that choose the mode of recovery and click NEXT.

Step-7: Click OK and Select the VMDK file you want to repair.

Step-8: After scanning process, click Save button te recover corrupt VMDK files, provide desired location to save your recovered VMDK data file.

Step-9: After selecting a location, saving process will begin that will save the files at your mentioned location.

Step-10: In the end, close and exit the software.

File Path: Select the desired path to save the .info file.

Now click the “Get authentication code” tab.

A new .info file will be saved in the user described location.

Step 4: Within some time user will get the authentication key in his/her Mailbox.

Now Install the software on your computer by making a double click on the .exe file.
