Step-1
Visit the official website of data-recovery-solutions.com and download the DRS Yandex Backup Tool. Install and run the application as administrator.

Provide the Yandex username and app password in the required fields and click on the Sign In button.

Now, the application verifies your account details and fetches the mailbox data.

After that, you will see a tree structure preview of your Yandex mailbox. Select the desired email items and click on the Next button.

Expand the Save/Backup/Migrate As field and choose PST file format from the list.

Tick the Remove Duplicate Mail option to exclude all duplicate emails from migration.

The Maintain Folder Hierarchy feature sustains the correct order of mailbox emails.This option is enabled by default.

If you want to delete the backed-up emails from your mailbox after completing the migration, enable the Free up server space option.

For excluding previously migrated mailbox data, opt for the Skip Previously Migrated Items option. It helps you to export only new emails.

Tick the Migrate or Backup emails without attachment files option to exclude email attachments during the Yandex mailbox migration.

The split resultant PST file option allows you to split the resultant PST file into multiple smaller files of the same size. Mark this option and specify the PST file size.

After that, select the Mail Filter option. It helps you export emails of a specific date range. Enter a suitable Start Date and End Date to define the date range.

If you want to assign a particular name to the output, mark the Custom folder name option and fill in the desired name in the respective field.

Click on the Path to Save button to define the destination for the resultant file. The default saving location is the Desktop.

At last, click on the Convert button to start backing up your Yandex mail to your system into PST file format.

After completing the migration, you will see the conversion report.

Click on the Download Report button to download the conversion report as a CSV file.

If you want to migrate the Yandex mailbox to another file format or email client click on the Convert Again button.

Expand the Save/Backup/Migrate As field and select the Gmail option from the list.

Provide the required Gmail username and app password and click on the Sign in button.

After successfully logging in to your Gmail account, tick the Remove Duplicate Mail on the basis of to, from, subject, bcc, and body options to prevent duplicate migration.

The Maintain Folder Hierarchy is enabled by default. It keeps the mailbox folders in the correct structure.

For deleting emails from the Yandex mailbox server, select the Free up Server Space option. This option creates free space for additional emails.

Tick the Skip Previously Migrated Items option for leaving Yandex emails that are migrated earlier.

The next option is Migrate or Backup emails without attachment files. Enable this option to migrate your emails without email attachments.

For migrating emails of a specific date range, the application provides you with the date range Mail Filter. As you enable this option and provide the appropriate Start Date and End Date, the application will migrate emails of that specified date range.

Select the Custom Folder Name option and provide any desired name to the output folder containing the resultant file.

At last, click on the Convert button to start migrating your Yandex emails to your Gmail account.

Now, the application migrates your Yandex emails to the Gmail email account. It will take some time depending on the size of your mailbox.

After completing the migration, you will see the migration report. Click on the Download Report button to download the report.

You can also press the Convert Again button to export your Yandex mailbox into any other file type or email account.
