Some third-party email applications often require generating a specific password for third-party applications as Yahoo mail doesn’t permit authentication using untrusted or unsafe login procedures. Hence, to access your Yahoo mail account on third-party applications, one has to generate a specific password to authenticate it.
The newly generated application password is a long and random code, that helps third-party applications to access Yahoo account easily. This code will be created only once and used while accessing through the third-party application.
Step 1 : Sign In to Your Yahoo Account.
Step 2 : After Signing In, Click on the Profile section of your Yahoo account and Tap Account Info.
Step 3 : In the Account Info Page, Choose the Account Security option and scroll the page.
Step 4 : Now, find the App password section and click on the option Generate App Password.
Step 5 : Here, hit the Get Started option to create the third-party app password for your Yahoo account.
Step 6 : Choose the app name and tap on the Generate app password.
Step 7 : Successfully generated the Third-party app password for your Yahoo account. Tap Done to close the settings.
Step 1 : Visit the Sign In page of Yahoo. Click Here to Visit.
Step 2 : After that, tap on the Profile of your Yahoo account and select Account Info.
Step 3 : Now, Choose the Account Security option from the left side of the displayed screen.
Step 4 : Scroll the page and click on the 2-step SV.
Step 5 : Tap the Get started button to continue the process.
Step 6 : Here, choose the verification method for enabling 2-Step verification.
Step 7 : Enter the received verification code and tap Continue. (Now, You have Turned-On the 2-Step Verification of Your Yahoo Account)
Step 1 : Go to Yahoo.com and sign in to your email account using appropriate login credentials.
Step 2 : Click the Profile section and tap on the Account Info.
Step 3 : A new wizard will get opened, select the AT&T Account Settings option.
Step 4 : After that, scroll that scroll the page of the mail secure key and choose the Manage Secure Mail Key option.
Step 5 : Select a particular email account (When you have multiple accounts).
Step 6 : Next, choose the Add Secure Mail Key option.
Step 7 : Enter the Secure Mail Key in the required field.
Step 8 : Then, click on the Create Secure Mail Key button.
Step 9 : At last, copy the created secure mail key and click OK to finish.
