Swift and Safe Recovery

Via VDI Recovery software, you can perform complete data recovery without taking much time. It doesn’t cause any changes or alterations to the original data and restore them in their original form.

Auto-Detect Information

There’s an auto-detect feature in this software that detects the file information of the selected VDI file. The information includes file format version, size of hard disk drive, sector per track, head, and cylinder.

Fixed & Dynamic Disks

It supports both Fixed and Dynamic disk types. You need to define the disk type before you can select a corrupt VDI file for Virtual disk image recovery.

Dual Scanning Modes

There are two different modes through which you can scan the corrupt VDI file. You should first select Standard scanning mode and then Advance scanning mode.

MBR & GPT Support

Any partition table format your VDI file is saved in, be it MBR aka master boot record or GPT aka GUID partition table, this software can perform successful recovery from corrupt VDI file.

New Volume Addition

In case of missing volume, you can add custom volume to the list to recover the maximum possible data. This option is only available with advance scanning. You need to click the Add New Volume button.

Volume Custom Settings

If you create a new volume and want to recover data from it, you need to define its custom settings. The custom settings include the start sector, end sector, and the file system you want to treat the volume as.

File Systems Support

VDI Recovery software supports all popular file systems used by different operating systems. It supports FAT 16, FAT 32, FAT 64 (exFAT), and NTFS of Windows, HFS+ of Mac, and EXTX (all variants) of Linux.

Smart RAW Recovery

If you want to recover image, audio, and archive files from the selected volume, you must try RAW Recovery mode. It supports recovery of image (5 MB), audio (6 MB) and archive (1 GB) files by default.

File Signatures Addition

With RAW recovery, you can add new file signatures into a new file or the existing one. This will recover more data from the selected volume other than image files, audio files, and archive files.

Multiple Recovery Modes

There are multiple recovery modes in this software to handle different levels of corruption. You should select Standard, Advanced and Deep modes one by one to fix minor, moderate, and severe corruption respectively.

Tree-Structure Preview

After a successful recovery process, the software presents a tree-structure preview of recovered data which includes all the files and folders stored in your VDI file. Also, you can check the file properties by simply clicking it.

Auto-search Files

If you want to save specific files, you can search single or multiple files by entering file names or file types in the search bar. It takes hardly a few seconds to search the files in tree-structure.
