After downloading finished, install the application.
In the Installation setup, click Next to proceed further.
Continue with the components selected by default.
Now, define a location to install the XAMPP Program files if required, otherwise stay with the default settings. Click Next.
Wait till the installation completes.
After the installation completes, you will see the XAMPP Control Panel. Press the Start button of Apache and MySQL Module consecutively.
As the MySQL connection is established successfully, click on the Admin button from the MySQL Module.
Copy the name of the server from the Admin panel of the XAMPP server.
Now, open the DRS MySQL Database Recovery Tool and paste
the server name in the Server field. Click on Test Connection.
Note: If you have created a password for the XAMPP
Server, use the same password. Otherwise, leave it blank.
Connection will be set up successfully. Click OK to close the pop-up.
Finally, press the OK button to save the repaired MySQL file to the XAMPP Server.
- Make sure the same database you are trying to save on the XAMPP server is not available.
- Sometimes, you may not be able to see the recovered MySQL database. Refresh the MySQL panel of the XAMPP server, it will sort out the issue.
